This year at the National Conference for Recognizing LLP and YIA Projects our organisation had been chosen to present one of the nonformal methods used in the“Nonformal Europe” Youth in Action Program. The outcome of this gathering was the presence of our project Nonformal Europe in the anual projects brochure developed by our National Agency.
Facilitators use games for a variety of different reasons, including helping people to get to know each other, increasing energy or enthusiasm levels, encouraging team building or making people think about a specific issue. Games that help people to get to know each other and to relax are called ice breakers. When people look sleepy or tired, energisers can be used to get people moving and to give them more enthusiasm. Other games can be used to help people think through issues and can help to address problems that people may encounter when they are working together. Games can also help people to think creatively and laterally.
This year at the National Conference for Recognizing LLP and YIA Projects our organisation had been chosen to present one of the nonformal methods used in the “Nonformal Europe” Youth in Action Program. Our project was selected as an example of good practices, portraying a variety of nonformal methods of learning. At the conference our team presented and facilitated the Sports Theater method. The participant’s feedback was a positive one, our audience consisting mainly of teachers who want to implement nonformal education methods in their school curriculum. We were very pleased to see that nonformal education is becoming more and more present in all educational contexts in Romania.
